LeRoy Eims on the importance of Scripture memory: "I think two of the master strokes of the devil have been to convince people he doesn't exist, and that Scripture memory is only for children. He remembers the humility of defeat when Jesus Christ, who was tempted in all points like as we are, met him with the Word of God." (What Every Christian Should Know About Growing; p. 26-27)

Titus 1:5

Titus 1:5 The reason I left you in Crete was that you might straighten out what was left unfinished and appoint elders in every town, as I directed you.

Begin your day by focusing on God's Word. Review your previous verses.

Add today's verse. Say it out loud. You will be up to about forty-five seconds.

Paul is now giving his purpose for writing this letter. Ask God to give you insights.

Prop up your spiral in teh bathroom while you get ready for the day. Then take it to the kitchen.

Leave it sitting up in a place you will pass by several times a day as a reminder to review. Redeem the time!

Can you sense God disciplining your mind to focus on Him?

Give your last few moments before bed to think about your verses in Titus.

Is this becoming a habit for you already? It will soon!
