LeRoy Eims on the importance of Scripture memory: "I think two of the master strokes of the devil have been to convince people he doesn't exist, and that Scripture memory is only for children. He remembers the humility of defeat when Jesus Christ, who was tempted in all points like as we are, met him with the Word of God." (What Every Christian Should Know About Growing; p. 26-27)

Titus 2:7

Titus 2:7
In everything set them an example by doing what is good, in your teaching show integrity, seriousness...

Discipline yourself to give your first thoughts to God.

Review what you've learned so far. See if you can do it all in the shower without looking. Then jump into verse 7. Take it slowly and carefully.

Today's verse includes when and who and how and what. Look for these. They're all important.

Keep reviewing throughout the day. Learn to recite Scripture while doing other things.

You're up to about forty-five seconds. Try to squeeze in several review times.

Say the words out loud so that you can hear them. This will aid the learning process.

End your day with God's Word. Don't forget the blessing is in meditating day and night.
