LeRoy Eims on the importance of Scripture memory: "I think two of the master strokes of the devil have been to convince people he doesn't exist, and that Scripture memory is only for children. He remembers the humility of defeat when Jesus Christ, who was tempted in all points like as we are, met him with the Word of God." (What Every Christian Should Know About Growing; p. 26-27)

Titus 1:10

Today is Monday so don't forget to review Psalm 1!

Titus 1:10
For there are many rebellious people, mere talkers and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision group.

Maintain the discipline of putting God`s Word first in your day.  Review what you have learned so far.

Move on when you are ready. Today`s verse gives the reason for verse 9.

Do we find people like this today?  Yes, and we`re all vulnerable to their influence.

As you repeat this verse, cry out to God, asking Him to keep you from becoming one of them.

Share your progress with someone who would be edified. Ask that person to check up on you later.

Give the final moments of your day to God. Rehearse His Word as you drift off to sleep.

*Note - all of these tips and hints are from Janet Pope`s book His Word in my Heart.  I will start always highlighting her words in blue.  My words will be in black.

**Edited to add.  As soon as I put that disclaimer in, she stopped putting tips for the daily verses - LOL! So starting tomorrow, the tips are my own (until she starts Titus 2).
